Personal Digital Assistants: What are they?

PDAs are handheld computers that can synchronize information from your home or office computer to your PDA. The main features of a PDA will include an address book, a calendar, a calculator, and a note book. With new emerging technological discoveries, the firsts PDAs are very different from those we have on the market today.

This is the first PDA that was created in the 1980’s.

This is a new High-Tech PDA like most we can now find on the market today.

The new PDAs are now very compact, they have touch screens, and they are equipped with the Bluetooth technology, high speed internet, and many other new technologies. Today one can do anything a regular computer does with a PDA. In addition, PDAs are joined with cell phones which increase their usefulness, and they can be recognized under the name of “smartphones”.
